Series: The Revelation of Jesus Christ Behold, He is Coming
Revelation 9
Woe, Woe, Woe to Those Who Dwell on the Earth
At the end of Revelation 8, an eagle flies over the earth, crying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, at the blast of the other trumpets that the three angels are about to blow!” The first four trumpet judgments, presented in chapter eight, are absolutely unimaginable, but they are nothing in comparison to what will follow. Proud mankind, in all his hubris, will have no remedy, no recourse, and no rescuer. One third of those left alive after the first four judgments perish in these, yet the response of the two-thirds that remain demonstrate beyond question the utter depravity of the human heart.
