The End is Drawing Near
Judgments of various types and intensities have been meted out upon mankind since the Fall. But what will the final judgment of God upon this wicked and rebellious world look like? Today’s text from Revelation 14 gives us the picture: one so horrific that its descriptions boggle and disturb the mind, and one so certain that it is spoken of in past tense. Yet in the middle of this historic narrative God identifies His people, calls them to endure, and grants a special benediction to those who endure to the end, becoming martyrs.
