A Difficult Call to an Obstinate People
In the book of Ezekiel, God has judged the Israelites for their idolatry and wickedness by sending them into captivity. He calls His prophet, Ezekiel, to speak His words to His people, a people who would refuse to respond with repentance. Why would God call Ezekiel on such a difficult task, knowing that “failure” was certain?
