Dead and Alive, Part 2
Paul tells the believers in Colossae that they, having been made alive to God, have died to the world and sin. These two realities are presented as the true state of Christians, not as something for which to strive. Paul continues by telling us how these two realities shape our lives, commanding us what to put on and what to put off. Yet this raises, or should raise, one obvious and glaring question. How? What are the headwaters for such living?
