Christ to His Beloved: to Thyatira
“Many in America have already written to obituary of the church.” So begins Pastor Froman’s message from this section of Revelation 2—Christ’s message to His church in Thyatira in which He commended them for their works of love and faith, even saying that their more recent works were greater than their first ones. However, He had something against them. He pronounces severe judgment upon those who tolerate false teachers within their ranks, and great blessing upon those who faithfully endure and continue in the faith in the midst of great opposition from the surrounding culture.
