The First Sign—Water to Wine
John 2:1-11
Last week Pastor Froman began a series based on John’s purpose in penning his gospel, namely, that we may believe. Today, the first of seven signs revealed by John is expounded upon. It’s a well-known miracle—Christ’s turning ordinary water into superior wine. But the purpose of this sign is lost by a merely cursory reading of the text. What this sign points to is utterly amazing.
