Have you ever noticed how people pray to God when trouble comes? Even trouble of our own making? Such was the case of Israel in the Babylonian captivity. The elders of Israel came to Ezekiel to inquire of the Lord in the midst of their trouble, convinced that God should answer them. To their amazement, He refused, citing to these elders their history. But to our amazement, that’s not the end of the story.
